Westin Riverfront catering to teens with exclusive new 7430 programming

Vail Valley's Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is catering to Generation Z with 7430, exclusive new teen-only programming designed to help younger guests experience the resort – and the Rocky Mountains – like never before.

Launching on July 1, 2011 and open to kids' ages 12 to 16, 7430 at The Westin Riverfront features everything today's teen needs to stay connected, meet others and have fun. It's strictly a “parents and little kids-free” zone, so teens can hang on their terms – play video games, watch a movie, surf the Internet – all in the cool Whitewater Lounge, located just off the Grand Lobby. Options include:

Chill Sessions
• Enjoy exclusive access to the Whitewater Lounge, where you can play video games on our X-BOX Kinect game system, kick back and enjoy a movie, surf the Internet, grab a snack and relax with new friends. $20 “cover” charge per participant per day.

Improv Movie Making: Lights, camera, action!
• Teens will be given 4 hours to script, shoot and edit a movie. 7430 staff will lead the filmmakers to various resort locations to shoot, then it's back to the Whitewater Lounge to edit, add credits and special effects and prepare for the film's premiere. After enjoying the red carpet treatment and an exclusive viewing of each film, participants will receive a DVD of their movie and the movies will be posted on YouTube. $30 per participant for a 4 hour session.

Scavenger Photo Hike
• Teens will embark on a journey of discovery to Beaver Creek, enjoying a guided hike along the scenic north side of the mountain. While on their hike, teens will utilize their phones or digital cameras to “capture” items on a virtual scavenger hunt. At the end of the trek up, participants will enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Upon return to the Whitewater Lounge, guests will upload their photos to an online photo album which will then be posted on the resort's Facebook page. $45 per participant for a 5 hour session

“Hobo” Cookouts
• Friday evenings will be spent by the Eagle River, cooking over an open fire. Guests will build their meals in a foil pouch and then cook them while enjoying the sounds of nature and sharing stories with new friends. After dinner, it's dessert mountain-style with S'mores. $25 per participant for a 3 hour session

Teens on the Town
• A rotating menu of activities that allow our guests a night away from their parents – whether it be video game tournaments, a DJ music event, or an evening exploring Beaver Creek Village – guests will experience a variety of activities with other teens. Pricing varies based on activity; 3 hour session

Fitness Rush
• Guests can enjoy personalized fitness sessions with the Riverfront Club's world-class trainers or experience a bike ride along the Eagle River. Participants will learn about how much fun it can be to be fit! After their workout, guests will return to the Whitewater Lounge to unwind with video games or a movie. $30 per participant for a 3 hour session

Spa Day
• For teens who want to be pampered, enjoy manicures & pedicures at Spa Anjali's salon. Wrap up your spa day with a sampling of healthy and delicious spa cuisine in the Spa Anjali Café, then head to the Riverfront Club for a personalized Yoga session. $95 per participant for a 4 hour session; offered Fridays only

All programs other than the “Chill Sessions” require a 24-hour reservation. Programs are offered on an “interest-guided” basis, meaning they are determined by popular vote. Meal services are available for an additional charge.
