The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is very proud to announce it has been honored as the “Top Resort, Mainland U.S.” by Condé Nast Traveler in its 2010 Readers' Choice Awards.

More than 25,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers voted on more than 10,000 properties and destinations worldwide in the annual survey, which is featured in the November issue of the magazine.

“We are beyond thrilled to have been honored with this prestigious award by the travel savvy readers of Condé Nast Traveler,” said Westin Riverfront General Manager Bob Trotter. “We are extremely thankful to all of the wonderful guests who have stayed with us and supported us over the past two years and we look forward to welcoming many new guests to The Westin Riverfront this ski season.”

The AAA Four Diamond Westin Riverfront opened fall 2008 and is the only Silver LEED certified resort in Colorado. Located in the heart of Colorado's magnificent Vail Valley at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, the resort features 230 finely appointed guest residences ranging from studio suites to three-bedroom condominiums, all featuring custom kitchens, five-piece bathrooms and gas fireplaces.

Nestled on the banks of the Eagle River, The Westin Riverfront is connected to Beaver Creek's spectacular ski terrain via the Riverfront Express Gondola. Amenities at the dog-friendly resort include a ski valet, on-site ski and snowboard rentals, a Westin Kids Club, the state-of-the-art Riverfront Club fitness center, a year-round outdoor pool and three riverside hot tubs. Spa Anjali offers a full menu of treatments focusing on healing mountain traditions. The resort is also home to Restaurant Avondale, by acclaimed chef/owner Thomas Salamunovich, which offers a seasonal, West Coast inspired menu and has become one of the Vail Valley's hottest dining destinations.

The Westin Riverfront features 4,200 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space, all offering floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing Beaver Creek Mountain views, plus the beautifully landscaped Riverfront Wedding Lawn and the adjoining 2,000-square-foot outdoor banquet terrace.

The Westin Riverfront has earned numerous awards since it opened, including being named to Condé Nast Traveler's “Hot List 2009” as one of the 140 hottest new resorts worldwide, as well as ranked 2nd in the “10 Best Snow Resorts for Families 2010” by Parents magazine. The resort has also been honored by Smart Meetings, Mountain Living Magazine and Colorado Meetings + Events and earned a Four Diamond rating from AAA.
