CDOT, Town of Eagle to hold July 1 informational meeting on roundabouts construction

The Colorado Department of Transportation, Flatiron Construction and the Town of Eagle will hold a public open house Monday, July 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Eagle Town Hall, 200 Broadway, to provide information about the upcoming interchange improvement project.

This project will upgrade the Interstate 70 Eagle interchange and portions of Eby Creek Road by constructing roundabouts at ramp intersections and a pedestrian bridge over I-70. The safety improvements are funded in part by Colorado FASTER. The project is scheduled from July through the fall of 2014.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to:

• Meet the project contractor

• Learn about the construction schedule

• See the designs for the new upgrades for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists

• Hear our plan to maintain access during the project

• Learn how to keep in touch with the project team
