Eagle County clerk to hold new election-law open houses
The Eagle County Clerk & Recorder’s Office will host a series of open houses in June to review upcoming voting and election changes. The changes are the result of new state legislation enacted in May.
All sessions will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Dates and locations are as follows:
Tuesday, June 4 - Eagle County Building, Commissioner’s Meeting Room
500 Broadway, Eagle
Thursday, June 6 - Town of Avon, Council Chambers
One Lake Street, Avon
Wednesday, June 12 - Town of Vail, Council Chambers
75 S. Frontage Road, Vail
Thursday, June 13 - El Jebel Community Center, Mt. Sopris Room

Attendees will receive information on new voter registration deadlines, changes to mail ballot procedures, combined "active" and "inactive" voter status, updates to address tracking methods and more.
