Highline scraps MojoMan event
Highline announced Wednesday that the company has made the difficult decision to cancel the inaugural MojoMan due to the short window of time allowed to market the event, secure sponsorships and drive participation. The event was slated to happen in Vail, Colo. over Memorial Day weekend.
In the face of executing an event confronted with excessive financial exposure and that would potentially not meet the high standards of Vail and the event's existing sponsors, Highline made the decision to cancel MojoMan. The conclusion was not reached easily, but after considering numerous courses of action Highline deemed cancellation was in the best interest of all involved parties.
All participants who signed up to participate in MojoMan will be issued a full refund for their registration fees. The future of the event is yet to be determined.
