It's time to dust off the lederhosen, throw on the dirndls and toast your steins to the most popular party in the world: Oktoberfest! The yearly festival of beer, music and autumn returns to Vail September 10-12 and 17-19.

The Town of Vail will host two full weekends (that's six incredible days!) of oom-pah parties, lively activities and traditional German fare in world-famous Vail, Colorado.

Bavarian tunes will be ever present along with crowd favorites like the Klement's bratwurst-eating contest, Beck's keg bowling, yodeling and alpenhorn blowing. It's all part of the six days of blown-out Bavarian fun!

For more information and the full schedule of events, visit www.vail-oktoberfest.com.
Lots of men in short pants holding beer mugs will be wandering Vail the next two weekends.

An exclusive lodging package, starting at just $199 per night (based on double occupancy), includes luxurious accommodations at the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, two official Vail Oktoberfest beer steins with six tokens in each and discounted parking. Packages are available for a limited time and based on availability.

Book now by visiting sonnenalp.com or calling 866-284-4411.

The official after party of Vail Oktoberfest, featuring authentic Bavarian fare, premium Beck's beer and plenty of Gemutleichkeit will be held Friday, Sept. 17 from 9 to 11 p.m. at the Swiss Chalet. Tickets are only $25 per person and include your first beer, true Bavarian food, live entertainment and traditional festivities.

Tickets available by calling 970-479-5429 or when you make your lodging reservation at the Sonnenalp Resort.
