Beaver Creek's Westin Riverfront awarded AAA Four Diamond Rating

AVON, Colo. – The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is very proud to announce it has been honored with the AAA Four Diamond Award for 2011. This is the first time that the Beaver Creek resort - which opened in 2008 and is Colorado's only Silver LEED certified hotel - has achieved this prestigious award.

The AAA Four Diamond award is given to less than 4 percent of the more than 31,000 properties approved by AAA. Winners are known for delivering an exceptional luxury experience paired with a high level of service, unique amenities and extraordinary surroundings.

The Westin Riverfront has earned numerous awards in the past two years, including being named to Condé Nast Traveler's “Hot List 2009” as one of the 140 hottest new resorts worldwide, as well as ranked 2nd in the “10 Best Snow Resorts for Families 2010” by Parents magazine. The resort has also been honored by Smart Meetings, Mountain Living Magazine and Colorado Meetings + Events.

Developed by Colorado's East West Partners, The Westin Riverfront earned its Silver LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council last year, making it only the ninth hotel in the U.S. to earn Silver LEED status and the first in the Westin brand, which includes more than 160 hotels worldwide.

The Westin Riverfront features 210 guest residences ranging from studio suites to three-bedroom condominiums, all featuring contemporary “mountain modern” décor, expansive windows, custom kitchens, five-piece bathrooms and gas fireplaces.
