Skiers and snowboarders can now benefit from saving on winter ski deals by purchasing a Colorado Gems Card for $10 at any of the Credit Union of Colorado's 15 statewide locations. The cards are issued by Colorado Ski Country USA, and provide a variety of discounts and some free ski days at nine of Colorado's smaller ski areas.

The Gems ski areas are Arapahoe Basin, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Ski Cooper, Sol Vista Basin and Sunlight.

Gems Card offerings vary at each ski area. Details are listed at www.ColoradoSki.com.

Credit Union of Colorado is a CSCUSA corporate “Proud Partner” as well as a Gems program partner and the primary retail outlet for the cards while supplies last. The credit union's branch locations can be found at www.CUofCO.org.

From now through January 6, 2012, the public can enter a sweepstakes online or at any branch of Credit Union of Colorado to win a pair of Icelantic skis with bindings and Columbia ski gear.

Credit Union of Colorado also is an official partner for CSCUSA's 5th and 6th Grade Passport Program, which provides free skiing for 5th graders and inexpensive access for 6th graders to skiing and snowboarding.
