Last week of skiing before 'Mud Season'
Six days and counting at Vail; snow could be with us through April
A quick apology for last week as the household was dealing with computer viruses and potty training. Yeah, lots of fun. Regardless, a pretty mild week of weather last week with a bit of new snow to add to the great totals this year.
We see Seattle-like weather for much of the week as valley temps will remain in the 40's and 50's during the day with overnight lows in the 30's.
On-mountain temps for the next three days look fairly balmy, with highs reaching the 40's under mostly cloudy skies, with snow likely at the highest elevations (9,000 and up).
Not a big week for any real accumulation as warm temps will stall any real action. Six days and counting and Spring Back to Vail is in full swing.
Tons of things to do for the last six days: snow riding, concerts, bar specials. You name it, Vail has it ... almost.
Enjoy the waning days of the 2010-11 ski season, it should be a fun one.
