After a disappointing end to what was built up as a big storm this past Tuesday, the mountains of Colorado will see another chance of snow this weekend.
Light totals expected as we see a few weak systems move through Saturday and overnight into Sunday. We should see clouds build in Friday with light showers possible overnight Friday.
As of now I expect totals to be light, with no more than 4-5 inches being reported for Saturday or Sunday.
Temps will be mild, with on-mountain highs in the high 20's and low 30's. Winds will be gusty at times, with southwest/west winds in the 10-20 mph range. Valley areas will see temps near 40 degrees, with very little snowfall.
Same forecast for Aspen/Snowmass, although they could see a bit more snow (1-2 inches) than the Vail Valley. We still see an unsettled pattern for the near future; however, nothing on the horizon looks to be too exciting.
Enjoy!
