Texas woman found dead at Sandstone Creek Club in Vail
A Texas woman was found dead in her bed at Sandstone Creek Club in Vail Sunday, Vail Police reported today. Here's the official press release on the incident:
At 6:19 a.m. on July 24, Vail Police responded to a report of an unresponsive female at the Sandstone Creek Club, located at 1020 Vail View Dr., in Vail. When police arrived they found the body of a Barbara Haney, 57, of Tomball, Texas, lying in her bed. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Eagle County Coroner's Office and Vail Police are conducting an investigation into the incident. At this time, there is no indication of any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The Eagle County Coroner's Office says the cause and manner of death will be determined when an autopsy is completed later this week.
