Avon man found dead along banks of Eagle River
The body of a 41-year-old Avon man was found Saturday along the banks of the Eagle River just east of Arrowhead, according to the Eagle County Sheriff's Department.
Officials today identified the man as Robert Greenbury and said he was "found to be unresponsive to emergency responders" on Saturday morning. They added Greenbury is "presumed to have drowned, although final autopsy results are still pending."
A preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play.
