Vail Recreation District hosts community open house on youth skating at Dobson Ice Arena
The open house will showcase youth skating options available at the arena during the upcoming school year, as well as other skating opportunities available. During the open house, participants can enjoy free public skating and a free slice of pizza on a first-come, first-served basis from Pazzo's Pizza. The open house also will include drawings for great giveaways from Dobson.
Registration for the arena's youth skating programs will be available at the open house, including for its Learn to Skate, Freestyle Jumps and Spins, Mini Mite and Mite Hockey and Girl's Hockey Intro. The programs are for those who either want to learn how to skate or enhance their skating skills. The first youth skating sessions begin next week and take place throughout the 2011-12 school year.
