Beaver Creek to open Larkspur, Bachelor Gulch, gondola to Avon on Saturday

Beaver Creek Resort plans to open more terrain and lifts on Saturday, including Larkspur Bowl along with additional terrain in Bachelor Gulch and other areas of the main mountain.

The resort will offer skiing and riding on more than 1,256 acres served by 13 lifts and nine conveyor lifts. The following lifts will open for the season on Saturday:

· Riverfront Gondola (Lift 7)

· Larkspur Express (Chair 11)

· Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express (Chair 15)

· Upper Beaver Creek Mountain Express (Chair 18)

Beano's and Zach's Cabins will open for dinner Friday and Mamie's Mountain Grill will be open for the season on Saturday, featuring its new expanded deck and yurt.

The Beaver Creek Nordic Center also opens for the season on Saturday, with private and group instruction in telemark, cross country, skate skiing and nature snowshoe tours plus the Center is fully equipped with a variety of rental gear.
